Website & onboarding terms
These terms govern use of the public CG Accounting website and the onboarding process initiated through it.
1. About CG Accounting
CG Accounting is a software product developed and operated by Comprehensive Group. The public website provides product information, pricing information, contact routes and an onboarding route for businesses that want to get started.
2. Website information
We aim to keep public product information accurate, but features, pricing, onboarding procedures and availability may change as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected on the website or confirmed during onboarding.
3. Trials and assisted onboarding
When you choose a package on the pricing page, the secure CG Accounting application confirms the currently published package, price and billing cadence before creating a 30-day trial. The assisted-onboarding form is separate: it is an enquiry for help choosing a package, migration or setup and does not itself create a trial or subscription.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices displayed on the public website are shown in South African rand and are sourced from the published CG Accounting commercial catalogue. The secure application confirms the selected package and price again when a trial is created. No payment is collected when the 30-day trial starts. Any applicable tax, payment method and final paid-subscription terms will be confirmed before paid service begins.
5. Your information
You should provide accurate contact and business information when making an enquiry or starting onboarding. Do not send passwords, OTPs, online-banking credentials, card details, API keys or other secret access information through public forms, email or WhatsApp. Our handling of public-site personal information is described in the privacy notice.
6. Appropriate use
You may not use this website, onboarding forms or any CG Accounting account to interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malicious code, misuse another person’s information or engage in unlawful activity.
7. Accounting, tax and legal responsibility
CG Accounting provides software tools for recording and working with financial information. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal or regulatory advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of information entered, the accounting policies applied to your business, statutory submissions and decisions based on your records.
8. Product availability and change
Features and workflows may be refined over time. We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue parts of the public site or service where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal requirements or product development.
9. Intellectual property
The CG Accounting name, website design, product interface, software and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of the software or brand to website visitors or subscribers.
10. Third-party services
The website and software may rely on hosting, email, communications, banking-file formats or other third-party infrastructure. Those services may have their own terms, privacy practices and availability conditions.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, CG Accounting and Comprehensive Group are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of public website information or from decisions made without appropriate professional review. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law
These public website and onboarding terms are intended to operate under the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
