This notice explains how personal information submitted through the public CG Accounting website is handled, including information provided through the onboarding process.

Information we may collect

When you contact us or submit the Get Started form, we may collect your name, business name, email address, contact number, business type, current accounting method, approximate transaction volume and other information you choose to provide. Standard technical server logs may also be created by the website or hosting environment.

Why we use it

We use public-site information to respond to enquiries, manage onboarding requests, provide requested product information, maintain a record of communication, protect the website from misuse and support legitimate operational record-keeping.

Essential website data

The Get Started process uses an essential technical session to help protect the form against forged submissions. The hosting environment may also process technical information such as IP address, browser details and server logs for normal website operation and security. If site analytics are enabled, they may be used to understand public-site visits and successful onboarding submissions. The configured analytics integration is set not to enable Google signals or advertising-personalisation signals.

What not to send

Please do not submit passwords, OTPs, online-banking credentials, card details, API keys or other secret access information through public forms, email or WhatsApp.

Storage and access

Onboarding-request information is stored in the CG Accounting public website environment and may also be sent to the configured CG Accounting mailbox for follow-up. Access should be limited to people who need the information for enquiry handling, onboarding, support, website operation or legitimate business administration.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell information submitted through the CG Accounting Get Started form. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, email, communications or other infrastructure needed to operate the website and service.

Retention

Enquiry and onboarding-request information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, onboarding, business records, dispute handling, security and applicable legal or operational requirements. Records that are no longer reasonably required should be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Your requests

You may contact us to ask what public-site personal information we hold about you, to request correction, or to request deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained where legitimate legal or record-keeping requirements apply.

Security

We use technical and operational controls intended to protect the public website and restrict unnecessary access to submitted information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and visitors should avoid sending secret credentials through public communication channels.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the public site, onboarding process, analytics, payment methods or service infrastructure changes materially.
